Bowl-a-thon

This year's Bowl-a-thon will took place April 12 at Circle Lanes in Forest Park - 7244 Circle Ave raising almost $5,000

If you are not a bowler there will be a raffle for many great gift baskets, not to mention pizza and soda. Some gift basket themes we've seen in the past are toys, adult beverages and chocolate.

The YMCA's Camp Independence is a camp specially designed for children and young adults with spina bifida and other neurological disabilities. The camp, located near Fox Lake in northern Illinois, features program designed to teach life skills, foster independence, build confidence, teach leadership and increase self-esteem.
